Here is an image I started before going back to the workforce recently. I took an old landscape painting and tried to interpret what could come out of it. I like to do this every now and then and see where I can take with it. In this case, I didn't manipulate it as much, but just went with it. I actually liked the colors so I used it as a palette to start not so much the shapes as you can see.

As far as other things go, things will keep going until the end of the year so we'll see how it goes.

ImagineFX Issue #52

Happy New Year folks! Things are starting to settle down here back in the Bay Area after the move. Moving is never fun and it's chaotic.

A few months ago, I was fortunate enough to be asked to do a workshop on ImagineFX Issue 52 which just came out. I've been a huge fan of this magazine since the very first issue and it was a huge treat to contribute something back. If you see this on the shelf, please check it out.
